Learn the theory and practical of waxing different areas of the body
You will be taught how to carry out a range of the most popular waxing treatments with strip or hot wax as well as learn the theoretical knowledge and safety procedures involved in practising these treatments at an industry accepted standard.
Waxing treatments are sought after all year round to achieve smooth, hair-free skin, with clients returning every 4-6 weeks; offering this treatment will give you a continual source of income particularly during the summer months when waxing treatments are the most in-demand.
You will learn to remove hair from the most common and delicate areas, including upper lip, chin, legs, basic bikini line and underarms, using a variety of methods.
Waxing provides a quick and efficient way of clearing small and large areas of unwanted hair, whilst the use of hot/warm wax, the traditional procedure of hair removal, is similarly as efficient and relatively pain-free for your clients in comparison to other methods.
At the end of your course, you will be qualified in providing waxing treatments from home or mobile.
The course is broken into easy to manage modules which are packed with useful information. Each module teaches you new skills, knowledge and information on waxing, helping you identify what you need to know and what products you need. You will learn techniques, styles and which waxes to use to for which areas and to achieve the best results.
The waxing Certificate is a convenient online study course, which enables you to work full time and study in your own time. The course needs to be completed within a maximum of a 6 month period, so if you are really short on time, you can spread the modules over the next 6 months.
